Tag post: Ride or die make-up tag

Hello everyone!

I haven't done a tag post in a while, so today I'd doing the Ride or Die Make-up Tag.  This tag was created by Jaclyn Hill on YouTube.  Her rules are simple: "List your ride or die cosmetic products from each category (foundation, blush, mascara, lip products, etc.).  If you could only take ONE from each category to a desert island, which would you choose?"

Here's a list of my ride or die cosmetics:

You can read my first "beauty secret" post to find out why this product works so well as a make-up primer.

Shhh... It's a beauty secret! #02

Hello everyone!

Remember my "beauty secret" post?  In this post I'm about to share another "secret"; aka the type of thing that people do not understand when you tell them or think you are crazy, but somehow I feel compelled to tell you, my readers, anyway! That's a mouthful!

So, my secret is... Here goes nothing... I use neat (undiluted) organic apple cider vinegar on my face as a sort of all-natural chemical peel!

Here's exactly how I use it:

I cleanse, rinse and towel dry my face and then I apply the undiluted ACV with a cotton ball.  This step is crucial: I only leave the organic apple cider vinegar on for about 2 minutes, then I rinse it off with plenty of cool water.  Do NOT leave it on for more than a couple of minutes or it will burn your skin!  However, it is completely safe to use for one or two minutes two to three times a week
Why I use it:

ACV works better than any other exfoliant I have ever tried and it does not contain any nasty ingredients.  It remove dead cells from the surface of the skin and leaves the skin super soft and glowing.  It also eliminates any blemishes you might have; including pimples, blackheads and pigmentation.  Apple cider vinegar also prevents the formation of acne and blackheads.  And it also eliminates fine lines and wrinkles!  I have been using apple cider vinegar both internally and topically, for years now and I absolutely love it.  I mean, how can you not love this powerful gift from Mother Nature!

Do you think that using neat apple cider vinegar on my face is crazy?  Would you give it a try?  Let me know in the comment section below!

Nails Of The Day (NOTD): Do you speak love? 💘

Hello everyone; I'm back!

Today's post is a nails of the day; I haven't done a NOTD post in ages!  As I told you in my year in review post,  I stopped wearing nail polish for a few months but recently I started painting my nails again.  This is what I'm currently wearing...  ðŸ’…

Essence The Gel Nail Polish (14) do you speak love?

First I applied Essence's The Gel Nail Polish Base Coat, then I applied one coat of (14) do you speak love?.  This is the perfect colour for February; the month of Valentine's Day!  Lastly, I finished with a coat of The Gel Nail Polish Top Coat to protect, seal, and provide long-lasting shine.  You can read my review on Essence The Gel Nail Polish, here.

Have a great day! 💋
